April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began with guitar and piano in 7th grade which sparked curiosity. In April, when she was 12 years old She composed her debut single, Different. In her 14th year April was a big devotee of her day writing and practicing songs. She began writing along with her dad and her dad in NY and LA shortly after. April also included additional topics in her song"Take my Hand. These topics were meant for the friends of hers who struggled with things like peer pressure issues or even teenage suicide thinking. Lockhart is a lifestyle and beauty influencer with an ever-growing fan base. She works with popular brand Ilia together, as well as being a lifestyle expert. The truth is that she was born with no left hand, and it is what makes her different. However, this isn't the only characteristic of her. Lockhart's Twitter profile does not ignore the fact that she is disabled and does not focus on it. What message does it convey? that we are all a part of a multitude that our identities are complex and that we are beyond our physical bodies. It's not my intention to let that determine me. I do not wish to become a disability influencer where it's the only thing I talk about because there are many different aspects to me. Lockhart speaks via video from her residence in Nashville. It doesn't impact my daily activities. I carry on my business as usual and have come up with my own methods to adjust. This is also part of me, and I believe it should be discussed. Lockhart inspires us to keep moving forward with self-acceptance. She admits that she's been through phases with her body at times not being confident in wearing particular types of clothes which showed the arms of her. Now, though she dons what she's comfortable in and post images of her outfits to social networks with a sense of pride. Self-love she said is like a journey. "I believe that you will ever be there," she said. It's true for all, no matter what their levels of anxiety. People you associate yourself with that truly understand your personal story and who can look inside your soul are the ones you should be relying on to help you remember what you're concerned about.
